Business First Chesterfield

Chesterfield County has created an outreach program called Business First Chesterfield designed to help our existing local businesses.
Business First Chesterfield focuses on face-to-face interviews with key executives of existing businesses.
In the interview, a Chesterfield Economic Development staff member will ask pertinent business questions that affect the everyday operations of doing business in the Chesterfield.
These questions are designed to help us identify areas that businesses view as obstacles that hinder their ability to operate efficiently and will help us to formulate programs and services to address those concerns.
Business First Chesterfield is the vehicle in which we can deliver valuable resources in a variety of areas to the business and their employees.
Existing business expansions account for a large percentage of new economic activity in the county. The Business First Chesterfield program develops a dialogue with other economic development agencies, community development, workforce development and the development community to understand individual businesses and their needs.
A strong economy not only bolsters existing businesses, but also helps attract new investment and talent!
